About The Event
It is celebrated every year on 5th September in the memoir of the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan for his scholarly and intellectual contribution to the development of our nation. Teacher’s day at MIDAS , was organized by Asst. Prof. Inniya and Asst. Prof. Keerthana and conducted a few literary activities like Debate, Essay writing, Public speaking. The judge for the English Essay writing competition was Prof. Ar. Bala Shankar and, the winners were Sharumathi– II yr ( First Prize) and Ram Prakash –II yr ( Second Prize) . For Tamil Essay writing , the winners were Madhava Ram bagged First Prize; Dharanitharan Second Prize; the judge was Dr.Karthiban. The judges for Debate were Asst.Prof..Arul Prakash, Assoc. Prof. Mohideen and Assoc. Prof. Mohana Gopiraj. The judge for Elocution was Asst.Prof. Radhakrishnan Rajasekaran and the winners were respectively Kadambari, Asmita and Nithish from 4th yr. All were served with snacks and tea at the end of the event.
