“Midas College Bids Farewell to Prof. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi With Flowers and Silence”

As the news about the sad demise of our beloved Prof. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi spread, students and faculty of MIDAS, architecture colleges in Chennai came together to express their grief. In the MIDAS college premises, everyone was busy with their own work but when 2 minutes of silence was announced, everyone stopped and paid their heartfelt tribute to the departed teacher. Flowers were poured on his photograph as a sign of love and respect.

Remembering Prof. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved Prof. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi. A towering figure in the world of architecture, he leaves behind a rich legacy that will be remembered by students and faculty of MIDAS alike.

During his time Prof. Doshi was a passionate teacher and mentor who inspired his students to reach for the stars. His gentle demeanour and keen insights will be sorely missed. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

A Tribute of Two Minutes of Silence

You were there to witness the tribute that the students and faculty of MIDAS India paid to the late Prof. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi. It was a moment of silence at midas that was observed for two minutes, with all those gathered there paying their respects to the departed soul.

The flowers that were poured on his portrait only served to heighten the sense of loss that we all feel at his passing. It was a sombre moment, made all the more poignant by the knowledge that we would never see Prof. Doshi again.

Prof. Doshi’s loss is deeply felt by all of us at Midas College. He will be sorely missed, but his memory will always stay with us.
