On 2^nd September 2022 a guest lecture on “Art and Architecture of Pallava Dynasty”, was attended by our 3^rd year students at Government College of Architecture and Sculpture, Mamallapuram (GCAS). The lecture was delivered by the Professor and Principal Dr.Rajendran.J, GCAS. This event was organized by Prof. Iyappan.S. The faculty representatives from MIDAS India were Prof. C.K.Praveen, Asst. Prof. Abinaya and Asst. Prof. Maniraj.  In the afternoon session of the event, the students were shown the function of various studios for arts and sculpture in the campus. GCAS has highly equipped studios for Metal, Stucco, Wood and Stone works. MIDAS college students also got an opportunity to attend a National Workshop on Architecture while touring inside GCAS. The lecture was an eye opener to MIDAS students to understand the Pallava Dynasty’s contribution to the field of Art and Architecture.
