Everyone believes you have the ability to be an artist or architect if you are skilled at sketching. Drawing proficiency is crucial for architects. I constantly ponder why. Can’t we learn the ability? Even though your drawing skills are lacking, you still want to study architecture and become an architect.

A person can become an architect if they have a solid mastery of the field of architecture drawing. I’m going to explain how the AD will help you become an architect in this blog post of MIDAS , architecture collleges in Chennai.

An architectural drawing is a technical representation of a structure (or building project) that satisfies the criteria of architecture, according to Wikipedia. Architectural drawings are used by architects and others for a variety of reasons, including developing a design concept into a convincing proposal, communicating ideas and concepts, persuading clients that a design is worthwhile, helping a principal designer build it in accordance with the design intent, serving as a record of the design and planned development, or creating a record of an existing structure.

I would say that architectural drawing is a language, and that it is used to converse, communicate, and build relationships in a somewhat different way than other languages. With the use of grammar, this language communicates the secret words of your notions, ideas, and creative thought process.

For architecture, building design is both an art and a science. For AD, art, math, and human visuals are everything.

I’ll go into more detail regarding architectural drawing specifics in the following blog.

Happy drawing!
